What is Read-A-Thon?

Read-A-Thon is Somerset’s 2nd biggest fundraiser of the year where students and families work hard to reach reading and fundraising goals. 2024 Read-A-Thon was a huge success! For the first time ever we reached all three of our goals: Participation, Reading Minutes + Donations. Thank you to everyone who participated! 


2025 Read-A-Thon will kickoff Wednesday, October 15 and the closing assembly with be Friday, November 21. Check back for more details! 

2024 Reading Minutes

We exceeded our reading goal! The kids read at school, on the bus, in a tree and they even had reading parties! 

2024 Fundraising

We had a big goal of $17,000 this year and we raised $20,245! All that money goes back to the school. 

Funding Breakdown

The money raised goes towards dozens of opportunities for the students and necessary resources for the teachers. The chart shows just a few opportunities and items your donations went towards in previous years.
